Where This Love Be Poem by Jim Butler

Where This Love Be

I don't think you realize
How much you mean to me.
I try not to show it
But inside's where this love be.

Each day we've spent together,
I've savored each moment,
You've been my splash of color,
In the gray absent.

And now
At the end of three years
We must say our
Goodbye.

The word is so simple,
Yet the heart tells so different.
All of those moments
Have come to an end.
