Where will we be, as time continues to flee -
Down that Great Ravine of Life?
May the Angels rock you gently to sleep -
Whispering Heavenly lullabies -
As God in disguise looks upon you
Through an infant's eyes.
Clear and green, they penetrate you
To your very core;
Your happiness, your well-being
Are all I want, forevermore.
As you drift in and out of consciousness,
Understand this:
Your Spirit is truly missed.
Maybe one day, in this life, or the next,
We'll re-unite in that starry-mist.
