Where words fail to express her desire
I see her suppress her words
As she coils up back down, refusing to unfurl
Her mood changes, her smile fades but she won't say where those feelings were made
Won't she give me a clue, won't she tell me what's new
And where her words may fail
Won't her expressions at least entail
Where words fail to express her emotion
Won't her faze speak to me instead
Won't her eyelids flutter to share her thoughts
Won't she wink at thee
As her eyes twitch at me but if course
Only to send her message to me
Where her words fail to express her mind
Won't her heart beat spell it out for me
Won't the echoes in her ribbed cage hammer her thoughts into me
Won't the pulses of her blood through her veins whisper to my ears
Won't she at least tremble to show she feels
Where words fail to express her desires
Won't she at least write to me
Maybe even scribble them away
Surging them into paper so I can see
Letting the ink do quite brilliantly the communicating
Because where her words fail completely
My heart breaks and alas I am doomed
