Wherre Is He Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

Wherre Is He

Who's He? Who's He? Where's He? Where's He...That spirit?
In temples tall, in mosques, in churches pious?
How does He appear...black, or white, whose writ
Rules all the world with unseen hand, sans bias.

I wonder why there's aura bright in shrines
That gives you peace of mind and makes the heart
Serene sans eviL thoughts and breaks the chains
Of human bonds anon with mystic dart.

While a exhibiting thus His miracles
Why not He show Himself and show'r His grace
On us? ! So weird are oh His mystic thrills
And binds us all with His mysterious lace.

I pondered over long and found at last
His pious abode. He's in my seeking heart!
