Which Way? Poem by Harrison Williams

Which Way?

I am an empty vessel,
Walking mindlessly through life,
With no purpose and no direction,
Just lost in a sea of people,
A sea of people doing the same as I,
Nothing to push us to be better,
So we wait in silence for a voice,
A voice that tells us what to do,
But I've done enough waiting,
I've walked to far in the wrong direction,
I will push past the crowd,
I will create my own purpose,
And I shall shout at the top of my lungs,
Scream to disrupt the silence,
Yell, 'I am going to walk my own path,
And you can follow my lead,
But do not follow my path, '
So I ask the ones who are still reading,
'Will you stay with the mindless crowd,
Or will you free yourself from it,
And have an amazing adventure? '
