While Bewitching Me Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

While Bewitching Me

IAM bewitched why?
in dreams, from what memories
where I too; grow old

leaving me my knights
to fight, that which is bewitched
of my memories

I found, within dreams
that sorcerer; who ate me
he's why I grew old

in my mind, I find
that bewitching little one
who took my thoughts where?

toward my aging' end
within dreaming' memories
there, is where and why

my nights have grown cold
no thanks to that sorcerer
whose dark laugh I know

and reality
is lost to me in my dreams
in this now and here

where this dream eater
bewitches my thoughts of time
unreality!

really is that theme
each reality now reamed
the sorcerer's dream!

corrupts and or clings
to realty's dreams
throughout my aging

and I, claim these things
a bewitched sorcerer's schemes
within all my dreams

IAM bewitching
in that sorcerer's mind games
where he eats my dreams

bewitching being
he laughs at me in my dreams
while bewitching me…
