Whim Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Whim

Rating: 5.0

Global offbeat
Fast catching up
Closing eyes
Towards conventional
And natural gifts
A moment of reading
Writing and learning
Or sitting back
Over the colours
To relax and delight
Becoming the gist
Of massive global drift.

Global offbeat
Fast catching up
Giving something
To take something
Simple and sensible
But, the huge irony
Being no inclination
Though the wind
Being
Beneath the wings
Yet, lyrics are written
As per audience's taste.

Global offbeat
Fast catching up
A woman
Not being womanly
And man not manly
Proving still not
To be the one
As a mother or father
Weaving the strings
Of success stories
Of their wards
Without
Accepting realities
Or making the most
Of each moment
During the formation
Of their wards
Thus, the youths
Off-ramping
Their natural route.

Global offbeat
Fast catching up
Though the wind
Being
Beneath the wings
Never giving up
To give in
Before the truth.
Being their belief
Accepting reality
As reality
Patience as a virtue
Got to live
In fool's paradise.
Natural nurturing
Of the minds
Untamed, uncensored
And unadulterated
That matters the most
With welcome
To the original growth
A world of happiness
Beyond the books.

Global offbeat
Fast catching up
To cope with pace
Let-
Dreams be engineered
Indulging into honesty
Righteousness
One side of the wrong.
