Who Am I? Poem by Tiffany ThePirate

Who Am I?

Who am I?
Am I the athlete
Or am I the nerd?
Am I at the lead of this pack
Or do I follow the herd?

Who am I?
Am I the popular girl
Or the loner in the corner?
Am I the outgoing one
Or the one who seems like a foreigner?

Who am I?
Am I the trendy Mindy?
Or the freaky Fred?
Am I the one who looks like I just rolled out of bed?

Who am I?
Am I the holy roller?
Or am I the baptist girl?
Or am I the Methodist who just likes to twirl?

Who am I?
Am I a hypocrite?
Or Am I the one on fire for god?
Am I being real?
Or is this all a facade?

Who am I?
Am I you or am I me?
Why isn't this determined so easily?
Why can't things just be what they seem?

Who am I?
I know who I am.
Im the one who follows the man with the plan.
I'm not the atlete or the nerd
I don't lead any pack or follow any herd.

I'm not popular by any means
And I'm not the loner in the corner.
No... That's not me.

I'm not trendy Mindy
Or freaky Fred.
Although sometimes I do look like I just rolled out of bed.

I'm more the holy roller
Than the baptist girl
But some days I'm the Methodist who just likes to twirl

I'm on fire for god.
Not as much as I could be though.
Back to the hypocrite me
I'll never go

I've come to a conclusion
A conclusion about me
I may not be all of those
But I am one thing

Who am I?
I am a believer
