Who Am I Poem by Joyleen Heneker

Who Am I

Who am I?
I used to have dreams, goals and ambitions
I used to smile, love and felt compassion
I used to be fun, socialize and hang out with friends
I used to paint, craft and have an imagination
I was smart, enjoyed life
I used to care, love and have friends
I used to have me!

Im lost in this world
Taken over my soul
Stored is my guilt, hatred and disgust
A world of death and the will to be thin
To be pretty, beautiful and happy
All I am now is fat and unhappy
All people see is fatness and don’t see me
Im lost in my thoughts
My will to bleed.
