Who Are You? Poem by Miss Grace

Who Are You?

Warm embrace envelopes my cold shoulders
But this warmth,
somehow feels
foreign... different.
Is it really you, who returned?

Same face, same name
Same appearance
And that same damn smile
I can't get out of my head
But I can tell it isn't you

The one who returned was not the one i fell on love with.
So tell me how do I grieve for a man that's alive

How do I grieve,
when the only thing that died was that part of you which felt familiar
That part of you which
was mine

Am i selfish?
Perhaps I am
But would you blame the homeless
for screaming out loud
When they lost the home they finally found?

But crying won't change things,
So I will smile as I reintroduce myself
And ask,
Who are you?
