To hopes for a better future the poorest do cling
But who is to say for you what tomorrow will bring
Tonight who is to say your luck may be in
And tomorrow you may celebrate your big lotto win
Today for you another miserable day
But tomorrow lady luck she may smile your way
With your many problems you are struggling to cope
But like many others you do live in hope
Of a better tomorrow you may have cause for cheer
And at the pub you may be buying your mates beer
A change of luck you surely are overdue
And tomorrow who knows all of your dreams may come true
Your finances may be in a sorrowful state
But tomorrow you may have cause to celebrate.
