Who was it? I wonder on a day full of smog,
And incredible thunder…
Like cats and dogs poured down rain,
With the whistle of a distant train.
With that came a storm, that took us all away
From the usual norm…
Away from the routine, all of us and everything..
Including all teens and queen.
Taking shelter and Hot beans..
We all had that look, of getting out by all means…
Right then I saw her, trying to hum a tune…
Through the pouring monsoon
She provided the much needed respite.
Making the rain end too soon.
The crowd left the shelter,
Trying to find her..Running ahead I sweltered.
Like a ghost in a shell,
I search for the beauty, without much avail…!
Who was it? I then wonder.
Who inspired us all…When rain turned to a squall.
