Unbelievable was the pain,
From the balcony I felt,
Overcome by sound of rain…
Trace of Petrichor was smelt…!

One by one I will endure,
Whatever you throw me towards.
But one thing I am sure,
To feel and look inwards.

Teach me what to do,
Surely - by hook or crook,
I will always stay true,
And try change my outlook.

Teach me until I learn,
Everything I should.
Give me a reason,
Not to ever brood.

Not that I've come to know,
With you by my side;
Rainy season to snow-
To your rules I will abide.

Walking back home,
I think about that balcony..
As I am free to roam -
With my thoughts in harmony.
