Who's Going To Miss Me Poem by Randy McClave

Who's Going To Miss Me

Who's going to miss me when I have flown away
Who's going to miss me when I didn't helped them today,
I wonder who that person might truly be
When I am missed because I'm not there when they scream, "Help me".
Who's going to miss me when I'm not there
Who's going to miss me when I'm flying away in the air,
And who's going to then think about their needs or whim
When I am not there to help or support them.
Who's going to miss me when I am gone
Who's going to miss me because of my brawn,
And when I am not there carrying or moving this or that
Who's going to care about where I am at.
Who's going to think only about themselves
When they have no souvenirs of me on their shelves,
And when I am not there to help them along
Will I be thought about when they hear my favorite song.
Who's going to send me emails and also texts
Who's going to tell me of their sadness and regrets,
And who's going to wish that they were with me in a foreign land
And who's going to wish that they were holding my hand.
Who's going to miss me only when my doors are locked
And who's going to miss me when their number is blocked,
And when I am not there to loan them a dollar
I wonder then who's going to be the one to scream or holler.
Who's going to miss me when to my home I do return
For me who will be the woman with the yearn,
And who's going to give me a loving and a caring kiss
But, maybe my soul and personality they did not miss.
