Sarah Child

Why - Poem by Sarah Child

Why is it that they all say they are my friends
Only to wait for me to turn my back, so they can drive a knife into it

Why am I always lonely
Nobody ever wants to understand the real me, they only laugh when that part of me shines through

Why do I always have to hide
My tears hidden with fake smiles and forced laughter, nobody tries to see my pain
