Why Are You Silent After The Award, Bob? Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Why Are You Silent After The Award, Bob?

Let them cringe you
Those who take your names
Just stooping to conquer
After the announcement of the award
Which they should have given it earlier,
Let, let them criticize
As for getting it,
A pop singer, a song writer
Like you
Who already famous
Before the plaque of honour
And the citation.

Bob, they are watching you
How do you take to,
React you,
Bob, Bob, they are marking you,
Your pain and pleasure,
But what that to do to you
If already in the news
For since long
As a news maker,
Now it is up to you
Whether you accept it or reject it!
