....Advice......long forgotten
'Why can't we all get along'
Rodney King's words of wisdom
...Though reverberating strong

Now....dangerously ignored
Seems our resident King Kong
....And ego-maniacal....others
Plotting paths of their own...

On the verge of annihilation
...Someplace somewhere
Nuclear destruction horrendous
God knows...'we've' been there

......Let us revisit that moment
When we first felt its song
A simple message of admonition
'Why can't...we all.....get along'
