I've been beside you from the start
I've had my taste and was turned away
But still here i stand
Through thick and thin i remain

I listen to all you have to say
About everyone who isn't me
I judge not for i envy them
I want all them to be me

I've loved you from the beginning
But on the other side i've stayed
You've said not right now each time
And each time i respect that

But why can't you see?
I've been in love with you this whole time
I've wanted nothing more than to be with you
But time keeps moving on and here i stand in place

But you'll never look at me the same again
I'm just the guy you can always turn to
The one who will always listen no matter what
But why can't you see?
