Could I kill for love?
Would I kill for her?
Handful of my hair taught
She grips, trickles words
In my ears, such taboo.
I grind my teeth like rusty cogs
Begging for either this pain
Or me to die.
Gut wrenched, I succumb
To delirium tremens
If I try to forget her.
With every blink her eerie
Smile possesses my mind.
Body bathed in paraesthesia,
I’m too drunk by soberness.
Her magnificence…infectious
For her wars are fought
For her I give charity
Why does it hurt so much?
Because I love her such.
