Why I Wander Around? Poem by Arun Maji

I am looking for you
in earth sky and sea,
not knowing
you are already there within me.

I am like that terrified child
who desperately looks for his mother,
forgetting
he already rests on lap of his mother!

O love, o joy, o peace, o beauty,
why am I so blind, so deaf, so empty?
I am made of you,
yet, why don't I see you, hear you, feel you?
Why I wander and wander
while in me, you are already there?
