Sarah, this is awesome! ! ! Like the dog that is man's/woman's best friend, so is pain. It teaches us that there is an imbalance in Mind/Body/Spirit. This is absolutely brilliant. Pain may not sing, but it certainly can communicate. And there have been times I have really wished that pain, that unwanted companion, would communicate with someone or something else. A brilliant poem...and you have me thinking about the connection between wisdom and pain. What do the wisdom teeth know? A great poem.
