Why So Short A Poem?
Why should I write my poems short,
Compress each noble theme and thought?
Why should I limit what I do
Because of you and you and you?
Though user-friendly I would be,
I must maintain my liberty,
Else all is lost and freedom dies
When what I write depends on size.
