Why Was Jesus Born On Christmas Day? Poem by Dr John Celes

The God who dwells in light immense,
Which human eyes cannot perceive,
In heaven, His abode unseen,
Exists whether you disbelieve, believe!

His heart of love so infinite
Had made the universe and man;
The same love's born on earth to save
All Men from damnation if He can!

And this is where comes Christmas Day,
When His one Son Jesus is born,
From Blessed Mary's Virgin womb,
With joy and peace, world to adorn!

The Savior's born for death on cross!
He is both man and God same time;
He opens Heaven's gate to all,
Who do reconcile their hearts with God, prime!

Jesus is the visible God,
Who triumphs o'er satan's designs,
And shows the way to truth and Light,
Of God, the Father forever who shines!
