Wild Ecstasy Poem by Bipin Patsani

A strong relation, deep and mature,
honest in its feelings and trust,
doesn't rely on appeasement,
self surrender and blind acceptance.
Nor does it flourish on sweet seducing
husky words of fanciful emotion and fantasy
poured into love poems written these days,
reading nothing more than mere mating calls.

If poetry be the ambrosia for our soul,
let it not be the imbecile inflow
of our emotional outburst
to break like bubbles,
but to have full control of the self.

If we fight or quarrel at times,
don't you think we are one entity
having our two distinct sides, the light
and shade in us, our wildest emotions,
our passion, love for both bond and freedom,
care and concern,and cravings so rare
complementing each other?

In our fight lay buried tight our deep love,
as much as in our courtship, kiss and hug.
