Wild Tomato Poem by james watkin

Wild Tomato

Weeks ago, or just hour's?
For so long a rich soil
Of flourishing hopes quit.
Of eyes' smugness unlit.
But not of bird's, so large
And wide, as evidenced
By this explosive find
Of redness unconfined.
