Wilderness Nymph Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Wilderness Nymph

She walks alone
With jingles on
So light footed
She Does not
Stall

Carpet of grass
Under her feet
Does not crush
As she skips
With her beat

Butterflies flock
As she twirls
Her rainbow
Frock
In unison
They dance
Wings and arms
Fluid forms afloat

As She spreads
Around
Her fragrance
Profound
Redundant
With sweetness
Magic unbound

She is
Just a
solitary Dame
A simple
wild flower
That's Never
Been tamed

With twinkle
In dark eyes
Challenging
Stars fame
Lover of moon
And Suns
Warm days

She Prances around
Singing her songs
Winds carry her notes
Every corner resounds

No one knows
Where she
Is from
Her self
Never shows
Obfuscated
From crowds
