Wilderness Of Tomorrow Poem by Sven Rhoads

Wilderness Of Tomorrow

For years I thought my time here was running out
New horizons would be forced to the center stage
Now its all gone out the window except unknowing doubt
The next chapter is nothing but a constant blank page

Staring down the road only to see clouds at the end
Questions left lingering at each corner of my mind
Into the great unknown Is the path where I'll descend
For the answers can only be where eyes are waiting blind

No one sees what tomorrow knows
When the wilderness consumes our lives
A brand new dawn has yet to unfold
As we take an even deeper dive

Will there be a place where I can call it my own
My own pack to form the next in line
Another half to overturn all of those stones
As we take a journey on this wild ride
Will there be an ocean for our hopes and dreams
A bond that will last the test of time
Until the vision is clear I must flow with the stream
For only tomorrow knows what I will find
