Will It Ever End? Poem by Katherine Cobing

Will It Ever End?

Here it comes again where blood has lain
I thought 'twas over but here's the pain
So many times I prayed and prayed
Yet it just won't easily fade.

My money's gone, more work undone.
Yes, I can rest but where's the fun?
More like fire replaced the rain.
And here it comes where blood has lain.

I cannot stand, nor walk or eat.
I am aching and so are my feet.
This pain is driving me insane.
Here it comes again where blood has lain.

Nobody's left to help me.
For I am alone in this struggle to be free.
Free from this monthly surge of pain.
Free from this tremendous menstrual pain.
