Can'T Say I Love You Poem by Katherine Cobing

Can'T Say I Love You

I look at you away from me
Wonder, will you never be mine?
Oh, darling, can't you see?
I'm struggling opver our love rhyme,

I've known you for years
From a little boy to a growing man
Out of your shell, now the boy without fears
You may have changed but a lot remains.

Still you shine like a star I've known
Still melt my heart with your killer smile
Still so kind you have always shown
Still the boy I've admired so much

I guess fate finds time to play
Distance is between me and you
We're three seats apart, I can't say...
I love you than a classmate could do.

Your caring words and loving gestures
A sweet smell and a gentle voice
Patients in waiting as a flow'r matures
Face that of an angel- I made the right choice.

Do you find it so ironic?
Gutsy girl can't tell she loves you.
Or would you find it so romantic?
I'll just confess my love in a billet-doux.
