Will We...Smile Again? Poem by Madelene Calalo

Will We...Smile Again?

Drops of the rain
Sad as your eyes
When will you ever smile again?

Ticks and tocks faint
I watch as time flies
When will I ever smile again?

Today?
Tomorrow?
The day after tomorrow?
who knows?
Our days now grow in sorrow.

One....
Five....
Three hundred sixty-five
days should i count?
when I know it's hopeless now...

....sigh....

The blows of the wind
pierces us through
Carrying us farther apart...

Like the sun and moon
who'll never meet
whose goal to seek each others heart..

now.... today...
this day.... this night..
will i ever see us smile again?

In a trance
only a trance..
Shall we ever really smile again.

A sad poem...but it explained the irony..that you can laugh without smiling..grin without realy being happy...now smile! :)
