Will You Run Away With Me? Poem by Raimi Babatunde

Will You Run Away With Me?

Rating: 5.0

Just that you know, I pledge before the stars, I'll be your cardigan when you are cold.
I'll play you notes from my box when you are down.

Together we will count the stars at dusk, as I tell you late night stories. I'll call you names fit only for the gods and buy you the moon.

I'll give you bear hugs fromyour derriere and never miss a date my Damsel. With you, I'll wear "Aso Ebi" to herald our love.

I'll never let you down, just be my best friend. On my shoulders shall you rest you head till fade my Darling.

Please, let me be your Mugu. Even when you take me for granted, I'll still be here waiting my Love.

Our pllow fights will be loving and flirty and I'll never let you down. Just one ask, will you run away with me?

A well thought poetry. Nicely mixed in emotions as in 'bhel puri'. With mugu types words....it becomes more beautiful. Thank-you Sir.
