Willing Captive Poem by Frank Adie

Willing Captive

Rating: 3.0

I am a captive in your arms.
In this prison, there is no qualms.

I am a willing inmate within this wall.
I like it here, please let time crawl.

Extend my sentence and let me stay.
I want to be jailed here until I am gray.

Don't fortify your barbs to keep me in chain.
I am a willing prisoner, simple and plain.

Dedicated to Diba, with love and affection.
