Wild Thoughts Poem by Frank Adie

Wild Thoughts

If it were possible for sex organs to wear,
How would those of some people be?
Some would have been dangerously abraded,
Like my grandmother's grinding stone.

A lot of puzzles would have been solved,
Bride prices would have been flexible,
It would have been like buying a used car;
The higher the mileage, the lower the price.

High mileage men would suffer rejection,
Or pay more for their promiscuity,
They would mostly be paired with their kinds,
The women in the same high mileage category.

If it were possible for sex organ to speak,
Some would protest due to overuse,
Others would grumble due to underuse,
Mediocrity would thrive, and sexual inequality eradicated.
