Wind Chimes Poem by T.L. Toadvine

Wind Chimes

Wind chimes
Sing to me your song
I seek to untangle your mystery
I do not understand your language
But it feels like a part of my soul
Did i hear you chime to me
That i live in her sacred heart
The muscles contracting
And pushing
Circulating love
And life
Beyond being apart
Words matter
Oh poetry! Don't fail me now
Masters of prose, don't judge me
As i blaze my trail into oblivion
Wind chimes
Speak for me
Don't fall silent in the gloom
As long as you are singing
I hear the hope within the tune
