They say that a women are like the wine,
What are older have a quieter bouquet,
become sweeter and smoothly.

Do not trust the poets.
Much depends on the type of grapes,
From the sun that burns it,
from the country that feeds it
and the variety from which it was born.

Do not trust the poets.
I know, for sure, that the best wine
when they are treated with carelessness
can become acidic and dry.

The same rules apply to women.

I know a woman who had
a big, sweet grapes.
Her life took all the gifts.
It has become a harsh and repulsive
as a young, unripe wine that, over time,
converted into ordinary vinegar.

Kažu da su žene kao vino,
Što su starije imaju mirniji buke,
slađe su i pitkije.

Ne vjerujte pjesnicima.
Mnogo zavisi od vrste grožđa:
Od sunca koje ga grije,
od zemlje koja ga hrani
i od sorte iz koje je rođeno.

Ne vjerujte pjesnicima.
Pouzdano znam da najbolja vina
kad se s njima neoprezno postupa
mogu postati kisela i opora.

Ista pravila važe za žene.

Poznajem jednu ženu koja je
imala krupno, slatko grožđe.
Život joj je odnio sve darove.
Postala je gruba i odbojna
kao mlado, nezrelo vino koje
se vremenom pretvori u obično sirće.
