Wings - Poem by Deanna West

Unfolding, exuding beauty
Quiet, seemingly flawless in design and cadence
Stronger than any wind

A gentle brush on the skin
Quietly whispering dreams, hopes, advice
Carrying a Life onward
Touching the world in touchless flight

Folded, resting
Gently pulsing beauty unmatched
Shadows of Nature
Hiding, sharing, peeking, singing
Forever the Timeless Storyteller

Carry on
Carry on
Carry on...
