Winter Landscape - Poem by Anita Wisniewska

Thick white cloud

Crawling on the skin

Sprinkles acid rain

From disembodied chimney hulks.

All the faces are blank as eggs.

Scarf-muffled, they cough and shuffle

Over wet concrete.
