Winter's Fairytale Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Winter's Fairytale

Rating: 5.0

The winter wind is blowing cold and strong
And snowflakes dance and swirl in the gray sky
The trees are bare, the nights are long
But in my heart, a fairytale is nigh

I see a castle made of ice and snow
With crystal windows shining in the sun
A prince is waiting there for me, I know
And we will ride together when he comes

I hear a sleigh with bells and horses' hoofs
And voices singing carols in the air
A fire is burning brightly in the roof
And I can smell the spices everywhere

I feel a warmth that melts the frost and chill
And fills my soul with joy and love and thrill
