Winter's Frost. Poem by Michael Cochrane

Winter's Frost.

Rating: 5.0

It spreads across the ploughed fields. Ethereal and creeping mist fermented from the ground.
The seeping winter's frost covers the ferns and the bog, the silence is broken by the biting cold wind. The ice is thick on the loch, the trees are standing like sentinels casting shadows over the shore.
