Wintry Poem by Vi Lanflagle

Wintry

Cold biting
harsh winter frost.
snowflakes fall,
wetting my numbed cheeks.
trees are laden with snow,
the ground untouched by man.
only just now lit,
with the pink rays
of the rising sun.
