तुम समझो मुझे कभी ये ख्वाहिश मेरी,

क्यों सदा ख्वाहिश ही रही?



मोहब्बत तो कर ली मैने तुमसे,

पर हर कदम मेरी आजमाइश ही रही।



कहकर भी खुद को ना कर पाए नाम मेरे तुम,

और दिल को तुमसे सिर्फ तुम्हारी गुजारिश ही रही।



दुनिया में आज चाहत सबकी बस दौलत है,

पर सच्चे इश्क को सदा रूह की फरमाइश ही रही।



बहुत मसरूफ है तू दिल में रहने वाले वक्त नहीं तुझे,

ये मोहब्बत मेरी सदा तेरे लिए जैसे बस नुमाइश ही रही।

Why was there always a desire?



I have fallen in love with you,

But every step was my test.



You could not make yourself even by saying my name,

And the heart had only one request from you.



In today's world, everyone's only wealth is desire,

But true love always remained the desire of the soul.



You are very busy, you do not have time to stay in your heart.

This love of mine for you always remained like an exhibition.
