Wishes From The Heart Poem by Lauren Pandy

Wishes From The Heart

Do I make you smile
Does it last for a while
You're the one for me
Oh baby, can't you see
When all I feel is doom
You save me from this tomb
I wish that you could see
That you're just right for me
What is it I must do
To help you see it's true
My dear, you make me smile
It always lasts a while
I'm the one for you
My wish is that you knew
That I'm just right for you
I'm waiting here for you
To tell me, 'Yes, it's true! '
I'll take your good with the bad
I'll be the best you've ever had
I'll pick you up when you are down
I'll be your shoulder when you're sad
And lend both ears when you are mad
When you need help, I'll be right there
When you think life's too hard to bear
I'll be your world, just wait and see
You're always happy when you're with me
Will you take my good with the bad
And be the best I've ever had
Pick me up when I am down
And turn my frown upside down
Please be my shoulder when I'm sad
And lend both ears when I am mad
When I need help, I want you there
When I think life's too hard to bear
You're my world, why can't you see
I'm always happy when you're with me
I konow I am a silly girl
For thinking that you are my world
I cannot help but think of you
And wonder if you think of me, too
Give me a sign or a clue
That you want me to be with you
I do not know what else to say
I may not have a later day
Or know of any other way
I hope this comforts you at night
To know you're in somebody's sight
One of these days I hope you'll see
The one you needed was always me
