With Forces Liaison Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I took sand particles
Kissed with tears and smile
Just rubbed over forehead
Took message to heart and read

Even though not considered as prestigious
Love for motherland by everybody was famous
Everybody may look at you with respect
This is how people love a person and react

It was first visit to homeland
Even though I wanted to meet school friends
They were my long time associate
We used to share many things and relate

They thought I might have become little fat
With all tough muscles and face straight
But I was even lean and thin
It was their views and thinking

It was tough time at training center
Gave some odd feeling when entered
Slowly it gave sense of patriotism
As many things were taught under mannerism

Total brains wash with physical exhaustion
No permission to leave camp without permission
Strict discipline with overall improvement
No place for outside contact with attachment

This is all about a person
Who joined forces with many reasons?
I was influenced by the soldier’s stories
How were they undergoing tough life for country?

It is one of the proudest moments
That one prefers for honorable job and sent
It is great opportunity and occasion
Where you feel great with forces liaison
