With Full Awareness

Rating: 5.0

A light went off but simple thought entered
All the life she took enough of care and catered
Not single moment we missed and lived together
She has now afforded me an opportunity to be called father

Her belly was slowly coming up in defiance
I was dreaming of it and had completer reliance
The baby may come out and find the new world
What does baby may know whether it is hot or cold?

She may come near and whisper in my ear
“Baby will be in belly for three fourth of an year”
We should be careful not to hurt any injury
We must live in happiness and be merry

I was in full agreement with her and gave nod
It was not in our hand now and awaited final call from God
The rest of the time may pass of easily and we shall be normal
The baby will finally make presence on countdown with arrival

We were dreaming day and night with full awareness
It was all the more anxiety and natural keenness
Baby was assuming shape and awaited divine blessings
We were careful and eager to make not any messing

She would catch my hand in disbelief
Though she used to remain in pain and pray for relief
I was helpless in not helping her out
The course was open before us and it was thus all about

It was natural result coming out from willing act
The baby was coming out as result of it
We were ready to accept it as real fact
As it was filling us with joy with no option to react

She will move her hand often on womb
It was surfacing with uneven surface like tomb
May be it was shaping like some monument
We had all the way happy moments

She feared some pain at last moment
I too was cautious about her movement
She was not allowed to move with some load
She was forbidden to travel even in vehicle on road

Finally a day arrived and she complained of labor
We rushed her to maternity home as was advised for
She was taken immediately to the room
We could notice all around babies’ boom

We all eagerly waited at the exit door
Any time doctor was expected to come near
And announce the good news we long awaited
It was to come soon as I feared to be fainted

Baby’s cry brought me to immediate sense
There was good news to relieve us from being tense
It was going to be a reality as we had wished
The long wait was finally over and finished
