With Ivy Wands On Our Heads - Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

With ivy wands on our heads
We this night will celebrate
Under the horns of Bacchus
We that dwell in Sicily the fair isle!

And as the lava falls down Aetna’s side
So let the wine fall down oesophagus
And feel the sweet burning falling
Falling slowly
