With The Aunties At Christmas Poem by Alan Sandham

With The Aunties At Christmas

Rating: 5.0

Christmas Day at the Auntie's
All of the family were there,

Plus girlfriends, and boyfriends,
And cousins and chums,

All delightedly invited
To add to the sum

Of the happinesses felt
By all who had come:

For Christmas is making our family,
We say,

It's time to make anxieties all
Go away,

Now we've got through the parties,
And look to New Year

To build better times
And bring friendship back here.
