Withdrawal Poem by T J Morgan

Withdrawal

Rating: 5.0

Decision made for me
I stop trying from now on
it was never meant to be
I do beg your pardon
I misread your signs
unknowingly cruel
read between the lines
an innocent fool

And now, strangely hollow
feelings wiped clean
I just didn't follow
and got too keen
I felt you withdraw
though you hid it well
with my heart, I saw
and I bid you farewell
