Without A Doubt
just once.
be obvious.
just tonight
lean over
too close.
make that eye contact
too long.
uncomfortable.
agonising.
make that touch
just too
intimate.
fingers on fingers.
just too much.
smile,
lips together.
knowing.
telling.
without a doubt.
Somewhere in this poem a heart breaks over and over. Somewhere in this poem two people are miles apart while a whisper away from presumed love....I love the listlessness, I ache for the longing implied, I am there.
