Without You

Thorns in my heart,
an unbearable pain.
Never seeing you
and never touching you
cause a well of pain
deep within my heart.
But for sure,
if I had never met you,
I would not be feeeling this awful pain
deep within me at the loss of you.
Beneath these painful thorns,
lies a bittersweet second chance.
