Woman's Choice - Poem by Larry Davis

I am the one that I must answer to
Within my soul like gold
If you like the way that I shine
If you want me to share my time
My life is always mine

Please be nice if you want to be right
To be a part of my life
Day and night you must respect me
Or my love shall not be for you

Being so beautiful and lovely
From my soul to an outside glow
I want you to know that I am special
If I shine for you it must be my choice

Don't take what is not due
I do not belong to you
I share only if I want to

Respect me for what I express
If you want to be with me you must see
From my heart or my thoughts
I must be able to choose
